Frederic Charles Bohlken, 73, of Scottsdale, AZ formerly of Burlington died at 7:40 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at the Scottsdale Village Square in Scottsdale
Born July 4, 1931 in Burlington he was the son of Fred and Louise S. Holze Bohlken.
Mr. Bohlken was a Burlington High School graduate. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. He then graduated from the University of Iowa in 1956. He had been a trucking company terminal manager. He served in the U.S. Air Reserves and the Colorado Air National Guard for 26 years. He retired on June 1, 1987.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scottsdale, AZ, and former member of Oak Street Baptist Church. He liked skiing, tennis, and working outdoors. He enjoyed animals and had raised pigeons in his younger years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one niece.
