John J. Bohlen, 86, Mediapolis, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, in the Mediapolis Care Center here.
He was born July 29, 1891, in Burlington, the son of Peter and Cathrine Klein Bohlen. He was a retired Salsman and WWI veteran.
Surviving: Three sisters, Mrs. Fraces Hass, Burlington, and Mrs. Della Plummer and Mrs. Catherine Hubbell, both of Gulfport, Ill.; two brothers, Philip, Melbourne, Fla., and Clair, St. Petersburg, Fla.
The funeral will be 10 am Saturday, St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Rev. Rudolph Berndt; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
