Norman S. Wedertz, 85, of 2108 S. 10th St., died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 1989, at the Elm View Care Center. Born June 1, 1904, in Burlington he was the son of Norman and Anna Suesens Wedertz. He married Marie M. Mesmer Nov. 27, 1926 in Burlington. He was employed with the Leopold Co. before retiring. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ, the B.P.O.E. 84 Masons, the Eagles Lodge and the Musicians union. Surviving is his wife. Visitation will be until 8:30 p.m. today and until 1 p.m. Saturday. The service for Mr. Wedertz will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Bryan Crousore officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Alzheimer's Disease Research.
