Mrs. Pauline D. Wedertz, 91, 1308 Madison, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 27, 1868, in Des Moines county, the daughter of C.H. and Carolina Biklen, and was married in 1886 in Burlington to Charles F. Wedertz. She was of the Lutheran faith, and was a member of the Degree of Honor. Surviving are a son, Lester B. of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Schweickhardt, Burlington; two grandsons, Max and Kenneth Wedertz, Santa Monica, Calif.; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, a son, two brothers and two sisters are dead. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Prugh's chapel with Rev. John Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
