Obituary

Mrs. Lillian Emma Wedertz, wife of Louis Wedertz, died Monday at her home on Madison avenue, aged twenty-four years. She was the daughter of James Anderson and was married five years ago. For several months past she had been ailing fast with consumption. She is survived by a devoted husband and two children, a daughter of four and a son of three. A brother of the deceased was killed three years ago at Scranton, Pennsylvania, by the explosion of a boiler and another brother lies in a critical state at his home in this city. Mrs. Virginia Harvey, of Scranton, a sister of the deceased has been here for several months past devoting herself to the care of the invalid. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. In the neighborhood in which the deceased had passed her life, she was universally esteemed and respected and the fullest measure of sympathy goes out to those whom affliction has come such heavy burdens in recent years.
