George H.W. Webb, 58, of 1420 Remey avenue died in Burlington hospital Sunday evening at 5:25 o'clock after an extended illness. Mr. Webb was born near Fairfield, Ia., July 2, 1875, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Webb. He was a building carpenter by trade, and came here 14 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are his widown; five sons, Henry, George, Jr., Harley and Edward of Burlington and J.O. Webb of Decatur, Ill.; two daughters, Miss Mildred Webb of Burlington and Mrs. R. Johnson of Lomax, Ill.; a brother, William Webb, of Moberly, Mo. and a number of grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held in Woodlawn Avenue Baptist church tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock in charge of Rev. A.I. Osborne, preceded by short services in Prugh's chapel with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
