Obituary
Mrs. Caroline Josaphin Boese, 75, resident of Burlington for 51 years died at her home, 1200 Oak Street Thursday afternoon after a long illness.
Mrs. Boese was born in Essen, Germany coming to Burlington as a young woman. She was married here 50 years ago to Fred H. Boese, who died 21 years ago. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Burlington.
Mrs. Boese is survived by two sons, Fred H. Boese and Walter R. Boese of Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Williamson and Mrs. Herbert Ruch of Burlington and Mrs. Wilkie Lee of Rockford, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Emilie Wrasse of Chicago; a grandson, Rober Boese of Burlington and a number of nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held in St. Mary’s church tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery. The body was taken to Prugh’s chapel.
