Obituary
Yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, after a lingering and painful sickness. Miss Stella Maude Weaver quietly and sweetly fell asleep at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Weaver, on South Garfield avenue. She was born in the city September 8, 1875 and her childhood and school life have been passed among us, so her circle of friends was large. She united with the First Presbyterian church of this city, of which her parents are members , when she was but fourteen years of age, and has been faithful and active and deeply interested, especially in the work of the Young People's society, where she will be greatly missed and sincerely mourned. Her gentle and domestic disposition, her winning ways, her devoted piety, gave promise of a life of great usefulness; but the Master had planned other things for her-better things doubtless, than earth could offer. The deep sympathy of many friends will go out to the stricken household in this new bereavement. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
Miss Stella Maude Weaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Weaver, died Saturday afternoon at her home on south Garfield avenue. She was 22 years of age and a native of this city. She was a student and graduate of the city schools and by her sweet disposition endeared herself to all who knew her. SInce childhood she has been an active member of the First Presbyterian church and especially a worker inthe Young Peopl's society where her place will be hard to fill. She will be buried this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence.
