Mrs. Evelyn Watson, 30, of 1301 Washington street, Mt. Pleasant, died suddenly at her home Sunday at 2 a.m. She was born in Burlington, Aug. 7. 1917, the daughter of Charles and Sophia Homes, Aug. 13, 1946, she married Charles L. Watson at Alexander, VA. Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Sophia Homes,Muscatine; and a half-sister, Mrs. Thelma Baxter, Burlington. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
