Mrs. Marie Holtcamp Boesch, who had been organist at First Methodist church for nearly 40 years, died at 7:35 am Sunday at her home at 912 N. Fourth Street after about a week’s illness.
Mrs. Boesch, the widow of Fred W. Boesch who died May 4, 1938, celebrated her 88th birthday anniversary on Oct. 13, 1890, at Muscotah, Mo.
She had lived in Burlington for about 60 years. Mrs. Boesch was a member of First Methodist Church. Surviving are 2 cousins, and Rev. JH Holtcamp, Lakewood, O.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Burnett Wallen funeral home with Rev. Deane Chapman of First Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
