Mrs. Clara Emma Watson, 78, of Maple Crest nursing home, died in St. Francis hospital Sunday at 3;45 p.m. A life resident of Burlington, she was the daughter of John and Emma Rappold and was born Nov. 18, 1886. She was married to Mr. Homer Watson in Burlington in October of 1917; he died in September of 1960. Mrs. Watson was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. She is survived by a brother and three sisters: Walter Rappold, Laguna Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Lavern Cox of Wever; and Mrs. Katherine Ihrer and Mrs. Florence Dreckmeier, both of Burlington. Three sisters died previously. Last rites will be at 3:30 Wednesday at the Prugh Chapel. The Rev. G.A. Saathoff will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
