Obituary
Mrs. Francis Boesch, 85, passed away at 6 o’clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Carlson, 800 South Starr Avenue. Mrs. Boesch was the widow of the late Anton Boesch and was born in Alsace Lorraine, September 8, 1945. She came to the United States and directly to Burlington in 1870, and the following year was united in marriage to Anton Boesch, who preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Henry of Cantril, Ia., and John of Memphis, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Carlson, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Frank Dewin also of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held in the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Carlson, No. 800 So. Starr Avenue Wednesday at 2:00. Friends invited. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The remains will be taken to the residence from Prugh’s chapel Wednesday morning.
