Funeral services for Charles F. Washburn, former resident of Burlington and the son of the late R.M. Washburn, well known business man of Burlington many years ago, will be held at Prugh's chapel at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He was a brother of the late George H. Washburn and the late Mrs. Chas. H. McLaury of this city. Mr. Washburn passed away suddenly at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall in Wilmette late Wednesday night while participating in a sociable game of bridge. His death was due to a heart attack. The body will arrive in Burlington on train No. 5 tonight and will be accompanied here by Mrs. Henry Hall and Mr. and Mrs. H.F. McLaury. Rev. H.B. Hoag, rector of Christ Episcopal church, will officiate at the services Saturday afternoon, and rites at the grave will be in charge of Des Moines lodge, A.F. and A.M. Pall bearers will be from the lodge. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
