Obituary

Mrs. Grace Warth, 83, died Saturday evening at the home of her son, Chester Warth, Danville route two, where she had lived the past 16 years. She was born north of Burlington in Des Moines county on Oct. 13, 1874, the daughter of Thomas and Lucy Foster Wykert and married Henry Warth on Jan. 10, 1894. He died in 1918. She was a member of the Kensington club, Hawkeye Natives auxiliary and Royal Neighbors. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dove and Mrs. Laura Holstein of Burlington, and Mrs. Mayme Shaffer of Danville; six sons, George and Ambrose of Burlington, Ralph and Chester of Danville, Milo of Sperry and Gilber of Dallas, Tex., 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, two brothers and a sister are dead. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wallen's chapel, the Rev. John Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
