Obituary
Anton Boesch, 1431 South Seventh Street died Sunday at the St. Frances Hospital. Mr. Boesch was a retired farmer and came to Des Moines County in 1871. He lived in Concordia township until six years ago, when he came to Burlington.
Mr. Boesch was born in Germany on the 4th of April, 1844. He leaves a wife, two sons, John W. Boesch of Cantril, Ia.; and Henry Boesch, of Arbelia, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. AC Felty, or LaGrange, Mo.; Mrs. Frank DeWein, of Burlington, and Mrs. Herbert Carlson of Burlington. There are also ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Boesch was a member of AOUW lodge no. 2.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at ten o’clock from the residence, 1431 South Seventh St. Rev. Robt. Neumann will officiate. Interment will be made in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
