Obituary
William Warth, 62, native of Des Moines county died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Eads, 1229 North Sixth street at 12:15 o'clock Sunday morning. He has been in ill health for about a year. Mr. Warth was born near Burlington, August 13, 1865 and has lived in this vicinity all his life. He conducted a farm for many years but a year ago he went to Carman, ill., to make his home with a daughter, Mrs. Jim Huffman. Last Tuesday he returned to Mrs. Eads' home in Burlington, where he died. He was married in 1893 to Miss Minnie Schenider, who survives him. He was a member of First Evangelical church. Besides his widow there survive two sons, Clarence of Chicago and Walter at home; five daughters, Mrs. C. Eads, of Burlington, Mrs. Jim Huffman, of Carman, and Lulu, Florence and Missie at home; four brothers, Albert of Mediapolis, John of New London and Emil and Charles of Burlington; and two sisters, Mrs. William Hult and Mrs. Clara Rickard of Burlington. Funeral services will be held at the Eads home, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
Died, December 11, 12:15 a.m. at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. C. Eads, William Warth, aged 62 years, 3 months, 28 days. Services will be held from the residence, 1229 North Sixth street, at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Rev. Koelling, officiating. Friends invited. Interment in Aspen Grove cemetery.
