Obituary
William H. Warth, 90, of Summer street road, last survivor of a pioneer Burlington family, died Tuesday at 11:40 p.m. after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 8, 1857 in Burlington, and June 18, 1891, married Mary C. Binder in Burlington. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical & Reformed church, Modern Woodmen and Odd Fellows. Surviving are the widow; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ed Zeller, Burlington, Mrs. George Hippe, Peoria; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Giles Funeral home with Rev. Ernst Press officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will be taken to the Warth home Thursday morning and returned to the funeral home Friday morning. The family has requested that no flowers be sent.
