Obituary
The remains of Martin Warming, father of Andrew and Clarence Warming, who passed away Monday in Iowa City, were brought to Burlington today for burial. Mr. Warming suffered an operation two weeks ago and was on the road to recovery when pneumonia set in and death resulted. Mrs. Warming and her two sons were at the bedside when death came. Mr. Warming was born in Denmark, 62 years ago, and came to Burlington when he was 17 years old. He was employed at West Burlington for about thirty years and later operated a farm near Hampton, Ia., After six years on the farm he returned to Burlington and entered the employe of the Rock Island, where he worked until a months ago, when ill health made an operation necessary. He was married to Marie Uldall in Burlington in 1888 and leaves his wife and two sons, Andrew and Clarence of Burlington. The funeral services for Mr. Warming will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the family residence, 1724 Madison avenue, with Rev. Mr. Lesher officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.
