Mrs. Elizabeth Ward, 80, was found dead in the kitchen of her home, 1334 Leebrick street, by her son, Curtis Ward, at 10:45 o'clock this morning. Death was believed due to heart trouble. Mrs. Ward was born near Des Moines, Ia., but she lived in Burlington for more than 25 years. She was married to Henry Ward, who preceded her in death many years ago. Besides her son, Curtiss, she is survived by three sisters. Her body was taken to Prugh's chapel to await funeral arrangements.
