Obituary

The remains of Mrs. Flora Pinkham Ward, who passed away in Washington, D.C. April 12 will arrive here this evening. The funeral will be held at the home of her grandfather, Mr. I.P. Segner, 633 South Garfield avenue, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Friends are invited to these services. The interment in Aspen Grove will be private. Flora Pinkham was born in Indianapolis, Ind. November 1, 1887, the daughter of A. C. and Fannie Segner Pinkham. She lived in Burlington several years and had been a frequent visitor here. Her many lovable qualities won many friends, who will hold her in kindly remembrance. She is survived by the husband, Dr. Archibald Ward, of Washington, D.C., formerly Ithaca, N.Y. and the grandfather, Mr. I. F. Segner, of this city; a sister, Mrs. David Grosch of Kansas City, and two cousins, the Mesers, Fred Segner Howe of Marshalltown, Ia., and William Leroy Howe of this city; an aunt Mrs. F. L. Howe of this city and an uncle, L.F> Pinkham of Honolulu, HI. She was an attendant at the Congregational church,
