Funeral services for Miss Lulu Bock, 52, life resident of Burlington who died at Burlington hospital Sunday morning after a long illness, will be held at the home of her brother, Edward Pietzsch, 2053 Gnahn Street at 2 o’clock this afternoon. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery and the body will be taken to the Pietzsch residence from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 9 o’clock this morning.
Miss Bock was born in Burlington, Feb. 27, 1880, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bock, who came here from Germany. Her parents died when she was still a child and when she was 14 years of age she started making her home with the Frank L. Ritzinger family. After Mr. and Mrs. Ritzinger died in 1915 she continued to make her home with Miss Sadie Ritzinger, serving as housekeeper until a year ago with her health failed and she went to the home of her sister, Mrs. EH Gerdes, 1832 Sunnyside Avenue, to live. She was a member of First Evangelical church.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Gerdes, and three brothers, Edward Pietzsch, William Bock, and Walter Bock, all of this city.
