Mrs. Jennie Sue Ward, 74, of 1501 Lincoln street, died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday after an extended illness. She was born March 5, 1876, at Waverly, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Mary Bedsworth Dinwiddle and was married Dec. 22, 1909 at Mexico, Mo., to Charles Ward. The couple came to Burlington 30 years ago. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are a half-sister, Mrs. James Bridgewater of St. Louis and 5 nieces and a nephew. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, in Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
