Arthur Lee Ward, 77, of 327 S. Fifth, died Wednesday at 10:10 p.m. in St. Francis hospital. He was born in Richland, Ia., July 9, 1875, the son of Phillip and Amanda Ward. Jan. 13, 1897, he married Telie Morrow at Richland. He was a member of the MWA lodge. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. May Peterson and a son, John H. Ward both of Burlington and 7 grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at p.m. in Prugh's chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Dr. M.E. Lehman will officiate.
