Ruth Perry Ward, 50, 1519 S. Fourteenth, died Sunday at Burlington hospital following an extended illness. Born in Des Moines county on July 3, 1903 she was the daughter of George and Eveleen Perry Ward. She was a member of First Baptist church. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph H. and Harry R., Burlington, and Arthur A., Mediapolis; a sister, Hattie M., Burlington, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Prugh's chapel with the Rev. L.K. Echols officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
