Hattie m. Ward, 93, of Burlington, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born June 21, 1909, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of George and Eveleen Clementine Perry Hildreth. Ms. Ward worked at Midwest Biscuit Co. and as a housekeeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1920. She loved flower gardening and raised rabbits. Survivors include one brother, Arthur A. Ward of Mediapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be on hour prior to the time of the service Friday at Prugh's Chapel. The funeral for Ms. Ward will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel, with the rev. Tyrone Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for First Baptist Church.
