George Charles Wanek, 67, 1913 S. Central Ave. was found dead at his home Monday, June 22,.Authorities said death was due to an apparent heart attack. He was born in Wahpeton, N. Dak., Oct. 23, 1903, the son of Charles and Anna Wanek. Mr. Wanek belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving: Two daughters, Mrs. Charles Willson of El Cajon, Calif., and Mrs. John Reisner, Oak Park, Ill.; a brother Henry Wanke, Fergus Falls, Minn.; a number of grandchildren. Funeral: Pending at Prugh's chapel.
