Funeral services will be held at Prugh's chapel Monday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs.Dora Wambsgans, 1436 S. Starr avenue, who died yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Wambsgans was born in Weissenbrunn, Germany on Oct. 11, 1856. Her childhood was spent in her native country. In 1883 she came to America, making her home in Burlington. She was united in marriage with John Wambsgans in 1892. Her husband died 22 years ago. She was a faithful member of St. Luke Evangelical church and of the Ladies Aid society there. After an illness of six months she passed away, after much suffering, at 1:30 Friday afternoon. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Behne of Burlington, Miss Elizabeth Wambsgans of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. J. L. Lynch of Grand Rapids, Mich. Besides these there are eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-child. The Rev. Mr. Schemmer will conduct the funeral Monday afternoon and burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
