Obituary
This morning at half-past three, at the Burlington hospital, occurred the death of Mrs. Frances Bock, wife of Mrs. Frances Bok, wife of Mr. Ernst Bock, park commissioner, and well-known florist, residing on Sunnyside avenue. Mrs. Bock’s death was a peculiarly sad one, and her taking away was very sudden. Yesterday morning Mrs. Bock underwent the ordeal of confinement at the Burlington hospital, giving birth to a baby girl. She grew rapidly worse throughout the day and night, and early this morning passed away, surrounded by her husband and near relatives.
Mrs. Bock was highly esteemed and beloved by a wide circle of relatives and friends, and her husband is extended the deepest sympathy on all sides in his great bereavement.
Mrs. Bock was always noted for her charitable and kind disposition, and she will be greatly missed in the church work in which she was prominent.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Bock is survived by two children, Jerome, a little boy two years of age, and the baby girl born yesterday, named Frances. The deceased was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was 37 years old. She was married to Mr. Bock five years ago and the union was a most happy one.
The funeral will be private and will be held Saturday morning at ten o’clock, from the residence, on Sunnyside avenue. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
