Mrs. Emma A. Walz, 91 of Topeka, Kan, died Thursday July 6, in Topeka. A native of Burlington, she was born Nov. 29, 1880, the daughter of Peter and Emma Bauer Messmer, and was married to Frank Walz who died in 1950. Mrs. Walz was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving: Daughter, Mrs. Ruth Whitcomb, Topeka. Funeral: Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel funeral home, Topeka, to be followed by 10 a.m. committal services in Aspen Grove cemetery Monday, Rev. Gilbert A. Saathoff officiating.
