Edward Clarence Walters, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walters, died at the Mercy hospital at 6:55 o'clock yesterday morning. Cause of death was typhoid fever, and the patient had the very best of care, but medical skill proved unavailing. Ed Walters was born in this city February 10, 1881 and was educated in the public school at Germania, where he was a great favorite. He leaves the parents, one brother Carl, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Sieberling, and a host of friends and acquaintances to mourn his early death. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
