Mrs. Marie Louise Wallis, De Kalb, Ill., died at 2:15 a.m. today at the home of her daughter in West Burlington where she had been visiting for the past three days. She had been in failing health for some time. Born in Germany, she came to this country 65 years ago. Her husband, Robert Wallis, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist church and of the Royal Neighbors. Surviving are on son, William Luetbecker of Joliet, Ill., one daughter, Mrs. T.F. Wallis, West Burlington; three step-children, Mrs. C.M. Marshall and Thomas Wallis of West Burlington, and Charles R. Wallis of Pasco, Wash. seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Enders of Cherry Valley, Il. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Daniel Bierbaum will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
