The funeral services for Mrs. JA Boatman will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the Burnett-Wallen funeral parlors and at 2 o’clock from the Grace ME Church. Friends are invited to attend.
Mrs. Boatman was the widow of Rev. JA Boatman, a retired Methodist minister, who lived here many years at the family home, 704 South Central Avenue.
Rev. Mr. Boatman passed away August 29, 1919, and Mrs. Boatman died while visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Boatman of Louisiana, Mo.
Besides her daughter, she leaves a son, Dr. JO Boatman of Kentucky and formerly of Burlington.
The remains will be brought to Burlington Saturday morning.
