Hulda Wallentine, 94, Mediapolis Care Center, a former resident of Autumn Heights, Burlington, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at the nursing home after a long illness. She was born June 30, 1887, at Emden, ill., to George and Mary Hendricker Wallentine. She was a homemaker and also worked on the family farm, Timber Lawn Stock Farm, at Sperry. Miss Wallentine was a member of the Flint Hills Church of the Nazarene. Surviving: several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Verda Peterson, Mediapolis, Carl Stiefel and Herbert Stiefel, both of Burlilngton. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Fred Borger; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
