Fred George Wallentine, 54, farmer living near Sperry, died Saturday after a 6 month illness. Born near Emden, Ill., April 13, 1890, he had lived on the same farm since 1891, when his parents moved to Iowa. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Burlington. Surviving are 2 brothers and 4 sisters, Philip Wallentine, Burlington; Chris Wallentine, Danville; Mrs. Carrie Fix, Greeley, Colo.; Mrs. Bertha Moore, Botna; Mrs. Lydia Stiefel, Burlington and Hulda Wallentine, at home. his parents are dead. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. V.H. Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
