Committal services for Mrs. Sarah Roberts Wallbaum, a native of Henderson county, Ill., will be held in Aspen Grove cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m. (CDT) Mrs. Wallbaum died at Los Angeles, Calif., Aug. 2, following a long illness. She had lived in Chicago for a number of years, and moved to California eight years ago. Mrs. Wallbaum was born in Henderson county, the daughter of Thomas and Ann Roberts. She was married to Harry Wallbaum, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian Science faith, and a member of the Eastern Star. She had followed a literary career, and had published a number of poems. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Edgar Gray of Gladstone, Ill.; Mrs. Mabel Schell of Oquawka, Ill.; Orville Gray, and Mrs. Zelda Schell, both of Phoenix, Ariz. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. The Prugh Funeral service will be in charge of the rites.
