Obituary
Mr. Roy Clement Adams, 1723 DOdge, died in Burlington hospital at 11;25 a.m. Sunday, at the age of 73. Last rites will be held at the Prugh Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. G. Dempster Yinger, pastor of First Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
Mr. Adams was a blacksmith prior to his retirement from the Iowa Ordinance Plant eight years ago. He was the son of John and Clara Wiggins Adams, and was born at Ottumwa on July 21, 1889.
A resident of Burlington for 43 years. Mr. Adams was a member of First Methodist church and the International Association of Machinists.
On Aug 12, 1908 at Ottumwa, he was married to Amy Mulhollen, who survives, as do a son, Arlington Richard Adams of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Raymond Adams of Priest River, Idaho and two grandchildren.
Two brothers died previously.
