Obituary

Mrs. Sophia Blum, widow of Henry Blum, passed away shortly before noon yesterday, at Mercy hospital, where she had been making her home for some time. She was born in the fatherland almost eighty years ago, and was an old resident of this city. She was no children or other near relatives living. Mrs. Blum was a faithful member of the Zion Evangelical church and the funeral will be held from Prugh’s chapel Saturday afternoon at to o’clock, the Rev. JC Erdmann officiating.
