Mrs. Lillian Swanson Walker passed away this morning at 8 o'clock in the St. Francis hospital after a short illness, her death being caused by bronchial pneumonia. She was born April 30, 1897, and was 22 years at the time death. She was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erland Swanson. After passing through the grades in the school at West Burlington she entered the Burlington High school, from which she graduated. For two years she taught school. Miss Swanson was united in marriage to Frank Lee Walker May 1, 1918. She was a faithful member of the Swedish Mission church and has a host of friends who mourn her passing. Besides her husband she is survived by an infant son, LeRoy Walker, her parents, four sisters, Mrs. George Mackey, Mildred, Elenora, Rachel and one brother, Tarl Swanson. The funeral arrangements will be made later.
