Len Andrew Walker, 66, of 1749 Pine, died Monday at 9:5 a.m. in Burlington hospital after an extended illness. He was a shoe salesman. He was born at Latty, Feb. 16, 1889, the son of Jesse and Susan Walker. Jan. 25, 1919, he married Nora Tackenberg at Dodgeville. He was a member of First Methodist church and Elks lodge. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Ahlstrand of Burlington; a brother, Lee Walker, Des Moines county; three sisters, Jessie Walker and Mrs. Effie Breuer, of Des Moines county and Mrs. Lela Miller of Anita, Ia. Two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. His parents and a sister are dead. The body is at Prugh's chapel.
