Obituary

R.P. Walker succumbed to a brief illness at his home on Main and Barrett streets. He was a retired farmer, seventy-two years of age and had spent the greater part of his life in the vicinity of Montrose. The family moved to Burlington last Saturday, and Mr. Walker became ill on Sunday, and his illness made rapid progress and it soon became apparent that his wish should not be fulfilled, and that he should not enjoy those years of rest and quiet to which he had been looking forward so long and with such pleasure. Mr.. Walker is survived by the widow and several children. Arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.
