Mrs. Myrtle Alice Walker, 250 S. Eighth street died at Mercy hospital at 1:15 a.m. today, after a brief illness. She was admitted to the hospital a week ago. She was born in Ottumwa, April 30, 1899, daughter of James and Julia Brady Spaugh. On Nov. 25, 1919, she was united in marriage with Lawrence Walker in Burlington. She was a member of First M.E. church. Surviving are her husband; one son, Larry; five sisters, Mrs. Carl Gerdes and Mrs. Arthur Max of Burlington; Mrs. J.L. Travis of Galesburg; Mrs. Lester Seaman of Waukegan, Ill., and Mrs. H.G. Weber of Riverside, Ill. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's chapel, Saturday aftrnoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. W.T. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
