Obituary
Mrs. L.N. Walker, a native of Burlington and well known in a large circle of friends, died suddenly today after an illness of about two months. While she had not felt well for some time and was under the care of a physician, her condition had not been regarded as critical. Today she visited a physician and while en route to her home on North Eight street, she suffered a heart attack when she reached the corner of Fifth and Franklin street. Mrs. Walker, although born in Burlington and residing here for many years,m had been a resident of Cedar Rapids since her marriage. She returned here about three months ago, following the death of her husband, and has made her home with her mother, Mrs. George Warner. Mrs. Walker was about 52 years old. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. George Warner; four sisters, Mrs. W.T. Bradfield, Mrs. Guy Perry, Mrs. William Hiltz and Mrs. George Melchoir; five brothers, Charles Warner, August Warner, George, Edward and John Warner. The body was removed to the Unterkircher Funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
