Mrs. Sigrid Marie Waler, 1116 s. 12th, died at 4:40 p.m. Friday in St. Francis hospital following a brief illness. A native of Burlington, she was born April 8, 1887, daughter of Henry and Ida Weiss Carigren. She was married to Frederick G. Walker, at Kahoka, Mo. on June 3, 1922. She was a member of the First Christian church, of the Royal Neighbors. Ladies of the Moose, Ladies auxiliary of the railroad veterans and Ldies Aid of First Christian church. Surviving are her husband; three step-daughters, Mrs. Charles Bouquet, Burlington; Mrs. Leonard Moffet, Keosauqua, and Mrs. Harry Frazier, Pleasant Grove and several cousins. Two brothers, one sister and a niece are dead. Services will be held in Prugh chapel at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. L.Z. Parron will be in charge. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
