Mrs. Nora Walker, 85, West Point Care Center, died there at 6;15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19. Born Aug. 4, 1892, in Des Moines county, she was the daughter of Edward and Christine Volmer Tackenberg. She married Len Andrew Walker Jan. 25, 1919, in Dodgeville. She was a member First United Methodist church, Burlington. Surviving: Daughter, Mrs. Keith (Betty) Ahlstrand, Ft. Madison; two granddaughters, five great-grand-children. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Burlington, Rev. L.E. Stone; Aspen Grove cemetery.
