Mrs. Ella May Bloomer, 97, of Elm View Care Center, died Dec. 13, 1989, at the center.
Born March 26, 1892, in Burlington, she was the daughter of James Edward and May Larson Gough. She married Harry F. Bloomer on April 28, 1915, in Burlington. He died Dec. 3, 1974.
She was of the Protestant faith and was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Robert E. Bloomer of Burlington, and Allen L. Bloomer of Hot Springs, Ark.; six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Sunday from 2 to 3 pm.
The graveside committal service for Mrs. Bloomer will be at 1:30 pm Monday at Aspen Grove Cemetery. The Rev. George Witzel officiating.
A memorial has been established for Mrs. Bloomer.
