Obituary

Travis Andrew Neff, 23, of Burlington, died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, in Burlington. Born April 26, 1984, in Burlington, he was the son of Jerry D. and Sharon K. Acord Neff. Mr. Neff worked in mixing department at Vista Bakery for the past five years. He was a 2002 graduate of Burlington High School. While in high school, through the vocational welding department, he and Jacob Patterson won a national bronze award for building a hydraulic dump trailer. He was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, four-wheeling and camping. Survivors include his daughter, Isabell Jean Neff; his parents of Burlington; one brother, Damion Neff of Burlington; one sister, Amber Neff of Burlington; his grandparents, Julia Neff, Don Acord and Marilyn and Harold Woodruff, all of Burlington; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and his great-grandparents. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel, where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The memorial service for Mr. Neff will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Erick Swanson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for his daughter's education.
