Frederick Gaven Walker, 89, Carman, Ill., died Friday at the Harmony Nursing Home, Mediapolis after a short illness. Mr. Walker was born Nov. 16, 1877, in Quincy, Ill., the son of Gaven and Elia Bradford Walker, June 3, 1922, at Kahoka, Mo., he married Sigrid Carlgron. He was a retired Burlington Railroad switchman, a member of the Des Moines Lodge No.1, AF&M Moose, B.or R.T. and a member of First Christian church. Surviving: Three daughters, Mrs. Charles Bouquet, Carman, Ill., Mrs. Leonard Moffett, Keosauqua and Mrs. Helena Frazier, Oakville; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one niece. Services: Monday 3:30 p.m., Prugh Chapel, Robert A. Owens, Aspen Grove cemetery.
