At 6:30 o'clock this morning Mrs. Sophia Walker breathed her last on this earth. The deceased was 60 years old and has been a resident of this city for the past sixteen years. She had only been sick for ten days but it was thought at first that it as nothing of any extremely serious nature, but she gradually grew worse and died. A husband and five children survive her and it is a sad blow to this once-happy and contented family. She was all what any fond and noble woman always is, a most devoted wife and a most loving mother. The funeral will be held at her late home at 625 North Eighth street.
