Obituary
At 9:30 o'clock this morning occurred the death of Mrs. Henrietta E. Waldin at her home on North Third street. Mrs. Waldin had been sick for some time and the news of her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Waldin was one of the oldest settlers in Burlington. She was born in Germany in 1822 and came to this country direct to Burlington ten years later and for sixty-nine years has been a resident of this state. in 1833 she was united in marriage to Gus A. Waldin, who survives her, and three children blessed that union, all of whom survive her. They are Henry, Gus and Charles Waldin.
