Obituary
Andrew H. Moehrling, 72, passed away at 9:15 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.F. Hippe, 1524 Louisa street, after an illness of one week. He had been in failing health for the past year. Mr. Moehrling had been employed at the West Burlington shops in the car department for 37 years, retiring on a pension four years ago. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical church, and was an active worker in the Sunday school, serving as superintendent for 25 years. Born in Sachsen, Unseburg, Germany on October 30, 1855, Mr. Moehrling came to this country in 1880. He was married 40 years ago last May to Miss Louise Wueliner of Burlington. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W.F. Hippe, with whom he made his home here, two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Chris Schmicker of Burlington. Funeral services will be held from the residence at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Friends are invited to attend the services.
